February 26, 2025The much-awaited SOLAR PAKISTAN 2025, the largest solar energy exhibition in the region, successfully took place at Lahore’s Expo Center from February 21–23. Organized by Fakt Exhibitions, the event brought together over 350 exhibitors from 10 countries, including global industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators. It played a key role in driving Pakistan’s transition to clean energy. For the first time in its history, the exhibition used all six halls, making it the most extensive solar event in the region.
As Pakistan continues to focus on renewable energy to tackle climate challenges and boost economic growth, SOLAR PAKISTAN 2025 served as an important platform for collaboration. Shah Jahan Mirza, Managing Director of the Private Power & Infrastructure Board, called the exhibition a game-changer for sustainability. He highlighted how it encouraged innovation, investment, and climate action, ensuring a cleaner and greener Pakistan.
The event offered several key highlights for attendees. Global innovations were on display, featuring advanced solar technologies such as high-efficiency panels and smart grid solutions. Investment opportunities were also a major focus, with international investors discussing ways to fund Pakistan’s renewable energy projects. Additionally, live demonstrations allowed visitors to witness next-generation solar solutions designed for residential, industrial, and agricultural use.
Saleem Khan Tanoli, CEO of Fakt Exhibitions, emphasized the event’s significance, stating:
