Daqo's subsidiaries to supply high-purity polysilicon to a leading PV firm

Leading supplier of high-purity polysilicon Daqo New Energy announced that its subsidiaries Xinjiang Daqo and Inner Mongolia Daqo had signed a six-year high-purity polysilicon supply agreement with a leading PV manufacturing company in China.

Under the agreement, Xinjiang Daqo and Inner Mongolia Daqo will provide this company with 432,000 metric tons of high-purity mono-grade polysilicon from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2028. Both parties will negotiate and confirm the actual prices monthly based on market conditions. As per the company's prediction, the demand for high-purity polysilicon is expected to increase at a robust rate, as their downstream customers are expanding their capacities very fast and want secure supplies of raw materials.

We expect that high-efficiency solar modules based on N-type technology will increase the market share very rapidly starting from next year. N-type technology requires even higher purity of polysilicon than the current P-type mono technology. We have confidence to benefit from this trend and differentiate us from our competitors by providing high-purity polysilicon to address the fast growing demand for N-type products.

Founded in 2007, Daqo New Energy has a total polysilicon nameplate capacity of 105,000 metric tons and is one of the world's lowest-cost producers of high-purity polysilicon.

Risen Energy's Hyper-ion HJT solar module series gets TÜV SÜD certification

Risen Energy, a leading Tier 1 manufacturer of high-performance solar PV modules, announced that the company's 210mm 700W heterojunction (HJT) lineup—Hyper-ion series—has been tested and certified by TÜV SÜD. It is the first company worldwide to be granted TÜV SÜD certification for the 210mm high-efficiency HJT panel product with ultra-thin wafer. HJT solar modules utilized both crystalline and amorphous silicon in their manufacturing, solving some common weak points for conventional modules. They can reduce the recombination process and have better performance under hot weather.

Risen Energy's Hyper-ion modules adopt 120μm half wafer with 4 chamfers, μc-Si doping layer, and low Ag content paste. With power output up to 700W, Hyper-ion's cell efficiency surpasses 25.5%, and its module efficiency achieves 22.53%. Designed to reduce the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) by 10% compared to PERC modules, Hyper-ion has passed the 5X IEC test, and the third-party verification result shows its carbon footprint value (CFP) is lower than 400kg eq CO2/kWc.

Jiangxi Jinko Announces Preliminary Financials for 2021 Year-to-Date

JinkoSolar Holding Company’s subsidiarity Jiangxi Jinko (Jinko Solar Co Ltd) is heading for estimated Q1 to Q3 revenue between RMB23.6 billion, and RMB23.8 billion as of September 24, 2021. These values convert to US$3.6 billion and US$3.75 billion respectively, at a conversion rate of 10:1.55. The company calculated the amounts in accordance with generally acceptable accounting principles (GAAP) of the People's Republic of China.

Jiangxi Jinko to List on Shanghai Stock Exchange
