RWE commissions 44-MWac bi-facial solar plant in Spain

RWE Renewables Iberia, a subsidiary of the RWE Group serving the Spanish market, commissioned a 44-MWac solar power plant in the Province of Guadalajara, close to the capital Madrid. The Casa Valdes solar plant is a ground-mounted PV project capable of supplying solar electricity to around 30,000 Spanish homes annually. Spanning an area of about 97 hectares, the Casa Valdes project integrates 97,740 high-performance bi-facial solar modules, which enables the module arrays to capture and convert sunlight from both sides, fostering higher power production.

RWE also utilizes bi-facial modules for its Puerta del Sol (close to Casa Valdes) and Las Vaguadas projects (in the Province of Badajoz) under construction with a total capacity of 54 MWac.

Attributable Net Income to Jiangxi Jinko Shareholders

RWE Renewables Iberia owns a strong renewables footprint in Spain with many years of construction and operating experience. The company currently operates a solar capacity of more than 90 MWac in Spain. RWE Renewables Iberia is also preparing and adjusting solar and wind projects in its existing development pipeline to participate in the "Concurso de Capacidad," the Spanish tenders to access capacity for the power transmission grid.
